Why 'e' learning matters in an organization
'e' means effective

Learning matters because in an organisation it helps the employees for a deeper understanding of the domain so that it motivates all to do things effectively and to bring in creativity & continuous improvement in process.

The change that a leader needs to bring in revolves around the 3 Cs (Competitors, Consumers & Capability). We can do it by integrating science with consumer understanding to address routine-disrupting needs. The root of all this is people who represent the organisation right from the grass root level to the board room. In order to bring in that radical change and to increase the TAT what is need is the right mix of knowledge & understanding.

Learning is done best when its done at a time which suits the learner (when his mind is open) and thru some amount of help & guidance by the trainer. If the said understanding can be made more clear to all concerned, I can assure that anybody would be tempted for e-learning. In fact in my present organisation I have worked a lot on e-training as it saves time, resource, money & most important of all 'its very effective' provided we install a process to measure.

The term learning / training makes sense only when the person receiving it sees What Is In It Their For Him / Her. Learning most of the times today is about unlearning and then re-learning. But what is more important is to understand that its not just Learning / Training, its a new ideation called Knowledge Bank where one can credit / debit their knowledge as per the requirement & as a bank we utilize the cumulative knowledge for a greater cause / new ideas / new strategy / new business, etc.
Thru knowledge sharing, research & theory an organisation gets to know its capabilities and that makes the strategy making easier & effective.

The simplest rule to ensure psychological health, safety & engagement of an organisation is to have an attitude be by the people, for the people & of the people. No matter what the nature of business it may be the automation & systems only makes the vehicle efficient but its the people who is the fuel which makes the vehicle speed up. In my career so far I have followed exactly the same.
The scrutiny & control can only be effective is the assessment is made on the grounds of reality. In a lot many cases we see that there is a vast gap in between the right & the reality. The approach should be to lessen the gap as much possible.

Sales moves in two modules - push & pull, similarly people in organisation also pushes & pulls others & the organisation as well in the process. The fact is there are no parallel discourses, its unidirectional only. As a person gets the right coaching, his / her enhancement in return pushes the organisation in its way up the growth ladder.

At times one's own experience becomes the biggest hindrance which militates change. Hence its very important to have a clean white board.

Invest your time in improving the 2 Ps - People & Product and get your returns in 2 Vs - Value & Volume

There is no one uniform answer we can have for the above question. The answers (communication) always have to be tailored as per the need. Incase we land up with an uniform answer then for sure there is a problem somewhere.
